Coastal wilderness area and famous waterfalls
Point Reyes National Seashore is part of the California Floristic Province (characterized by Mediterranean vegetation) and a zone of overlap of marine provinces (Californian and Oregonian), consequently a wide variety of animals are found in the diversity of habitats.
Palomarin Trailhead is a 16.8-mile hike at the northern dead-end of Mesa Road in Bolinas. This beautiful hike traversing the entire Coastal Trail in Point Reyes through two long beaches, and in addition the most dramatic falls sight as waterfall. This trail is not a loop, also we can adjust the distance depending on the level of the group.
We will make a stop during the hike at Alamere Falls, over a 30 foot tall cliff onto the south end of Wildcat Beach. This spectacular spot is a popular visitor draw.
