The best panoramic view of San Francisco
We organize a wonderful day on Angel Island! You will take the ferry of your choice, from San Francisco or Tiburon, then we will meet on the island for a beautiful hike around the island.
Angel Island is in the San Francisco Bay, and is covered with grass and woodlands.
Historically, this island played a major role during the settlement of the West and as an immigration station, trails and roads crisscross the island, providing easy access to historic sites and breathtaking views of San Francisco, Marin County and the Golden Gate Bridge.
The Coast Miwok once inhabited the island, and for nearly 100 years, from the Civil War to the Cold War—the federal government used its strategic location for military bases, a quarantine station and an immigration station.
Since the end of the cold war, visitors can enjoy the view from the island’s historic sites and facilities.
